On the island of Ioannina, in the hospitable space of the 15th century St Panteleimon's Monastery, where Ali Pasha was assassinated by the Sultan's troops on February 5, 1822, the Museum of the Pre-Revolutionary Period first opened in 1958, thanks to the initiative of enlightened citizens of Ioannina. In the same place, since May 2012, the Ali Pasha and Revolutionary Period Museum has been housed, where the important collection of the Fotis Rapakousis family is housed.
Visitors to the Museum Complex come into direct contact with amazing works of art of the Epirotic silver industry: Weapons, jewellery, utilitarian objects, ceramics from the 17th to the beginning of the 20th century, traditional costumes of Epirus, a representation of a winter ode, a representation of the drowning of Kyra-Frosini, caves where historical events of the Second World War are presented, paintings, lithographs and objects of folklore interest.
The inspirer and creator of the museum, Mr. Fotis Rapakousis, collaborates with our company and uses our Flexible Mannequins for the dioramas and the display of the costumes of the museum.
