In Chrissos of Fokidas, a historical village characterized as a traditional settlement, there is one of the most complete, most valuable and impressive collections of traditional costumes in our country, which is housed in the ETHNOLOGICAL FOLKLORE MUSEUM OF CHRISSOS "COLLECTION OF ILIA EFTH. DARADIMOS"
A central place in the collection is occupied by the approximately 200 Greek traditional costumes which are chronologically placed in the pre-revolutionary, revolutionary, on-screen and later periods, until almost 1920, when their use gradually began to disappear due to the prevalence of European fashion in Greece.
These particular costumes are considered unique in variety, quality and execution of embroideries, color combinations and originality of designs, which make them so perfect, almost unsurpassed.
