The exhibition space of the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus opens this year 2023 again with an original exhibition about the many faces of Medea, which returns to the public after many years thanks to the initiative of the Athens Epidaurus Festival and the valuable support of the Greek Ministry of Culture.
The reopening of the exhibition space opens on July 7, 2023 with the temporary exhibition entitled "Medea in Epidaurus", on the occasion of the world premiere of Frank Castorff's performance (21/7) and the 100th anniversary of the birth of Maria Callas, the which, like Kerubini's Medea in 1961 at the Ancient Theater, left its mark
The creative team chose Flexible Mannequins to showcase the iconic uniforms of the 21 Medes.
Flexible mannequins, with head and headless, were used for the presentation of the exhibition. Also, custom constructions were made to showcase masks and headpieces as well as bust forms in custom heights.
